Slam by Nick Hornby

A book about a teenage boy who ends up being a dad. Informational story, and a good book for teenagers having sex. It takes a very realistic look at parenthood through the eyes of a teen and what you must give up to do that. But, since I'm not a sex-having teen, the lesson is a little lost on me.
Also, the main character talks to his Tony Hawk poster (he's really into skating) and thats where he gets his advice. On several occasions, the boy gets "whizzed" into the future and all together it really doesn't work.
Not up to Hornby's usual great standard.
